Kenya has issued air service licenses to 38 aviation operators, a move expected to significantly increase flight capacity and connectivity within the region. The expansion strengthens Nairobi’s role as a major aviation hub in Africa and supports the growth of tourism across the country.
The move is expected to improve access to major tourism destinations such as the Maasai Mara, Naivasha, and other Rift Valley attractions. Improved connectivity is also likely to support tour operators, hotels, and travel businesses by increasing international arrivals and domestic travel options
